Discover Scuba Diving in the Red Sea
Your first dive, with no experience needed: a briefing on the boat, a gentle try in shallow water, then a guided dive on a coral reef.
Highlights
- No experience or certificate needed
- One instructor for every two beginners
- Guided dive to about 6 metres
- Snorkelling stop and lunch on board
The Red Sea is one of the best places in the world to try diving for the first time: warm, clear water, calm reefs close to shore and an abundance of colourful fish at shallow depths.
An instructor explains the equipment and the few skills you need on the boat, then lets you practise breathing underwater in shallow water. Only when you feel comfortable do you go down together, holding hands if you like, to a maximum of about 6 metres.
The day also includes snorkelling at a second reef and lunch on board. Groups are kept small, with one instructor for every two beginners.
