Highlights

  • Camel ride at sunset
  • Dinner by the fire
  • Telescope and a guide to the night sky
  • Quiet, small group

Away from the lights of Hurghada, the desert sky is extraordinary.

The evening starts with a camel ride at sunset. At the camp, dinner is served Bedouin-style around the fire. Once it is dark, a guide sets up a telescope and shows you the moon, the planets visible that night and the brightest stars and constellations.

A calm, quiet evening — the opposite of a quad safari, and many guests’ favourite night of the holiday.

Frequently asked questions

  • A bright moon hides fainter stars, but it is spectacular through the telescope. Choose a date away from the full moon for the most stars.

Picked up on time, the crew spoke Polish and looked after our kids in the water the whole day. Best trip of our holiday.
